Before Your Eyes is an ambitious film project combining two short independent films into one cohesive story by weaving them with a third project. Brian Rooney is featured as Richard in Shades Of Green, the first of the two stories. Richard lures his brother Andy out on a fishing trip with the intention of seeking revenge for a stolen lover. Surprises are in store for both brothers as they spend a night in the forest playing cat and mouse.  Before Your Eyes won the Golden Palm Award at the Mexico International Film Festival and the Silver Sierra Award at the Yosemite International Film Festival - both in 2009.

Marilyn's Dress - directed by Tanya Savard. This practicum project of Columbia College was screened at Sundance Film Festival in 2011 and was the subject of the PBS special, Taking Park City. It features Brian Rooney as Ray - a down and out midwest farmer during the depression. His youngest daughter watches her older sister discover the power of her sexuality on men. Swassman - Episode 4; The Swass And The Furious - a webisode directed by Brian Ernst. Brian Rooney guest stars as Professor Bart Zane the world's foremost swassologist. The Swassman is loose - and he is killing innocent people using Swass . . . okay, it stands for Sweaty Ass . . . no, really. Professor Zane is the only one that can help Detective Dan Chrome. Blood On The Plain - directed by Mac Eldridge features Brian Rooney as James Dodge. James is one of four trackers searching for who or what ever killed 20 high school students in a rural town. Currently a short film, there is a feature in the works that will center around the four trackers and their search. The Mystique - directed by Nick Vassil and set in 1932 Chicago, a time when the great vaudeville houses were closing down to make way for the new moving pictures. Meltem Porter is the headlining magician in such a house. We see Meltem on closing night unable to perform his newly acquired "greatest act ever" - Brian Rooney stars as Meltem Porter. The Mystique won Best Picture at the Indie Incubator Film Fest in 2011. Bad Manners - This student directed short was filmed as an homage to noted director Quentin Tarantino. Directed by Taylor Kendrick, it follows the attempted murder of Mr. Wallace (played by Brian Rooney) - things don't go as planned and Mr. Wallace may get the better of the Big Boss. Knife Throwers Apprentice - directed by Ryan McNeal. A beautifully shot piece that inspires the imagination, featuring Brian Rooney as The Great Renaldo - a has-been knife thrower and traveling circus owner who seems to find his power over his assistant and apprentice the only things that make life worth living. Palmetto Pirate Commercial  Brian Rooney is featured as the South Carolina Education Lottery pirate for their scratcher ticket. There was also a radio spot and a public appearance in association with the release of the Palmetto Pirate scratcher ticket.

Mr. Enigma                   Brian Rooney is Singeltary Enigma - an actor who believes he is a film noir detective. It's a bit choppy, and a bit grainy - but the characters are insane and funny. This is a bit of the beginning of the film - 4 minutes out of 30.

The Lost Colony TV Ad   This commercial was produced for The Lost Colony. Brian Rooney appears as Old Tom - the role he played in the show to critical acclaim. Old Tom is found about 20 seconds into the commercial.
